Guided Visualization
When lead inward with guided visualization, we access a waking dream-like state and the subconscious mind. From here we can travel back in time to observe and learn from old memories or explore our inherited beliefs. Through this process we retrieve deep insight and understanding of the emotional and behavioral patterns we experience today. These insights guide us in moving forward and teach us how to heal and change in positive ways.
-
Somatic Awareness
Our bodies are constantly speaking to us, but many of us have forgotten how to listen and interpret these messages. Our ability to sense and understand our body’s internal signals helps bridge the gap between mind and body. By tuning into physical sensations, we can access deeply held beliefs that may be difficult to reach through words alone. This embodied approach allows us to release trapped energy, regulate the nervous system, and strengthen the two-way communication channel between the body and mind.
-
Radical Acceptance
Radical acceptance is not about resignation or giving up. It is the quiet courage to acknowledge what we cannot change, while still choosing to move forward with grace and purpose. This does not mean we stop striving and growing, or become complacent and accept the injustices around us. It involves seeing things as they are, without denial, and truly accepting what is beyond our control. This allows us to conserve and focus our energy on what we can truly influence and change.
-
Inner Parts Work
Imagine your mind as a team of players, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, and motivations. Sometimes, one player might be holding the whole team back, like a part that fears failure that is preventing you from trying something new. When working with these parts individually and collectively we learn their concerns and grow to understand them more deeply. By acknowledging and addressing their needs with compassion, we create more harmony within our heart and mind and move forward with all our parts working together as one.
-
Nervous System Regulation
Our nervous system is the control center for how we experience the world, constantly interpreting and reacting to our environment. When it is regulated we are able to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace. A regulated nervous system allows us to respond to stress thoughtfully rather than react impulsively, reducing feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, and burnout. By prioritizing practices that support nervous system regulation, we can cultivate inner calm, enhance well-being, and unlock our potential to thrive even amidst life's inevitable ups and downs.

Inner Child Work
Tucked away within each of us is an inner child, a wellspring of joy, curiosity, and boundless imagination. Connecting with this inner child isn't about being childish; it's about reclaiming those vital qualities that make life vibrant. It's about rediscovering a sense of wonder and allowing ourselves to be creative without fear of judgment. By giving our inner child the love and support we may have missed in our youth, we experience a deeper sense of love and self-acceptance in adulthood. Nurturing this connection fuels our resilience and helps us to approach the world with a lighter, more open heart.
-
Spiritual Practice
Connecting with a sense of wonder to something larger than ourselves broadens our perspective, softens our need for control, and diminishes our fears. Whether through nature, meditation, music, or one’s personal religion, integrating a spiritual practice into our lives can foster a deeper sense of connection and peace.
(If you have a religious or spiritual practice, it will be welcomed into the work we do together, but no doctrine will be placed upon you. You do not need to be spiritual to do this work or to access the healing power of compassion and love.) -
Attachment Styles
Attachment styles are formed through the experiences we have in our earliest relationships, particularly with our caregivers. The tendency to be overly independent, or to struggle with trusting ourself and to constantly seek guidance from others, often stems from the attachment style formed in childhood. These early interactions create patterns of behavior that carry into adulthood, influencing how we love, seek comfort, and navigate emotional intimacy. When we gain this understanding, we become more patient and loving towards ourselves and others, and then learn to break away from old patters and cultivate healthier, more fulfilling connections.

Daoist Priciples
Think of day and night, up and down, winter and summer, or even the inhale and exhale of our breath. These seemingly contradictory forces are not in conflict but rather complement and balance each other. This reflects the concept of yin and yang—the natural polarity that exists both in the outer world and within our inner-world of thoughts and emotions. The key is not to resist or label things as good or bad, right or wrong, because in balance every aspect serves a purpose. It’s when there is a strong imbalance or deep resistance that suffering arises. By aligning with the natural rhythms of life (wu wei) and letting go of rigid control, we navigate our emotions and thoughts with greater ease.

Mindful Inquiry - Compassionate Listening
In the journey towards wellbeing, compassionate listening and mindful inquiry are two main pillars of support. Truly hearing another's story, without judgment or agenda, creates a safe space for vulnerability and self-discovery. Mindful inquiry, can gently guide us to explore thoughts, feelings, and limiting beliefs more deeply with curiosity and kindness. This powerful combination fosters steady growth to greater mental and emotional health.

Midlife Rebirth
Midlife is not a crisis, but a chrysalis. It's a time of transformation, when we shed old layers and emerge anew. This period offers a unique opportunity to slow down, reassess who you are today, now at this age and stage in life. With this we question long-held assumptions and beliefs, release old titles, and redefine what truly matters to us. We find new ways to fill our spirit, care for ourselves, and to contribute to the world around us. This period of reflection and re-evaluation lead to a richer, more fulfilling second half of life.

EcoTherapy
Nature is a profound healer. When we fully immerse ourselves in the natural world—whether through a peaceful walk in the woods or simply tending to a garden—we access a deep source of renewal and balance. By engaging our senses with the sights, sounds, and scents around us, we experience a calming effect to the nervous system and reduce stress and anxiety. Ecotherapy taps into this inherent connection between humans and nature, utilizing it as a powerful tool for healing and restoration.
The bird sitting on a tree is not afraid of the branch breaking, because its faith is not on the branch, but on its own wings and its ability to fly.
Together we will…
-
Befriend Emotions
Our emotions are not enemies to be conquered, but rather messengers offering valuable insights into our inner world. By approaching them with curiosity and compassion, we can learn to understand their language. When we befriend our emotions, acknowledging and accepting them without judgment, we create a safe space for them to flow freely and move beyond.
-
Define Core Values
Defining and establishing our core values is like creating a mission statement for our life. These fundamental principles act as our internal compass, guiding our decisions, shaping our actions, and informing how we interact with the world. When we clearly define what truly matters to us, we create a solid foundation for building an authentic and fulfilling life.
-
Identify Limiting Beliefs
These are the invisible barriers we place on ourselves, often born from fear, past experiences, or societal expectations. They whisper that we're not good enough or capable of achieving our dreams, holding us back from stepping into our true power. Yet, these beliefs are not truths—they are simply stories we've told ourselves. Once we recognize them, we can challenge and transform them, replacing limitation with possibility.
-
Let Go of Perfection & Control
True growth lies in embracing the beauty of imperfection. Life is unpredictable, and trying to control every outcome only leads to frustration and missed opportunities. By releasing the desire to have everything just right, we open ourself to new possibilities, discovering more about ourself and the world around us, and give ourselves permission to make mistakes, learn, and grow.
-
Create Healthy Boundaries
Establishing healthy boundaries is an act of self-love and a crucial step towards well-being. It is about recognizing our limits, honoring our needs, and communicating them clearly and respectfully. These boundaries, whether physical, emotional, or mental, protect our energy and create space for us to thrive. By setting clear limits, we cultivate healthier relationships, reduce stress, and empower ourself to live a more balanced and authentic life.
-
Develop Self-Compassion & Self-Awareness
When we show ourselves compassion, and embrace our imperfections without judgment, we create space for growth and healing. Having self-awareness helps us understand our emotions and actions when they rise, giving us the pause to respond rather than react.
-
Strengthen Intuition
From inventors inspired by sudden flashes of insight to explorers trusting their gut instincts when entering uncharted land, intuition has led humanity in remarkable ways. Although it is often ignored today, intuition has been a guiding force throughout human history. When cultivated, it serves as an inner compass, helping us align with our truest desires and values. However, strong emotions and a restless mind can cloud the quiet voice of intuition. By working with our emotions and deepening our self-awareness, we strengthen our connection to our intuitive wisdom, allowing it to guide us with greater confidence and clarity.

Rediscover Joyful Living
Rediscovering joy isn’t about chasing fleeting pleasures; it’s about cultivating an appreciation for the present moment, rekindling our curiosity, and exploring new passions. It’s about reconnecting with the simple things that bring lightness and laughter. By embracing playfulness, practicing gratitude, and nurturing meaningful connections, we invite joy back into our lives, weaving a vibrant tapestry of experiences that nourish our soul and fill our days with warmth and wonder.

Express Your Truest Self
When we allow ourselves to be fully seen—without masks or fear of judgment—we open the door to deeper connection and fulfillment. We are each here on Earth at this moment for a reason. The world needs us to embrace who we truly are, with all our unique qualities and gifts, so we can shape it in our own unique way. But to do this, we must first take the time to understand ourselves, to break down the walls that hold us back, so we can let our authentic expression shine through.
